Job ID#00247 Controls Engineer
Responsibilities:
This position requires the candidate to be involved in every stage of the electrical design process of material handling equipment and other automation
- Control panel and wiring diagram design
- Programming and debug of the unit and assisting in the install of the machine at customer site if needed
- Control systems will typically use servo/stepper motion controls and advanced pneumatic circuits
- Solid understanding and ability to utilize either Allen Bradley or Siemens Controls.
Skills and abilities:
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Experience in Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs required
- Additional experience in Omron, GE and Siemens PLCs a bonus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required and a BS in Electrical Engineering preferred, but not required.
